ABOUT
Watsamon “June” Tri-yasakda is a photojournalist, based in Bangkok, Thailand. She’s actively documenting issues of human rights for LGBTIQ community in Thailand and Southeast Asia. She works for local and international media, and NGOs. Her works have been published in magazines Sarakadee and BK, Coconuts Media sites, and featured in Buzzfeed and After Ellen.

She has B.A. in Cultural Studies from Chulalongkorn University. She was offered a scholarship to study a Diploma in Photojournalism, Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University. She was selected for 2015 Chiangmai Documentary Arts Festival’s Mentor Program.
